With the opening of the borders to Portugal to international travel from selected locations we are happy to say that we are ready and happy to welcome back tourists to the Algarve!

As a part of the safety and protection to these valued travel corridors we have to be aware that travel is not what it used to be. Here in the Algarve we are glad to welcome back the tourists and aware that most destinations will require a negative covid test prior to flying.

PCR tests are required before flying in general and evidence of a negative Covid result within 48-72 hours of flying. PCR tests in Vilamoura and the surrounding area can be:

Município de Albufeira - COVID19 RT-PCR TEST

Anyone, of legal age, can schedule a diagnostic test to detect SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Results are sent by email up to 48 hours after sample collection.

Please beware to book your test taking into consideration the 72 Hours timeline required for many applications.
