Juan Gómez-Vega is the new CEO of Vilamoura World

Director of the Lone Star fund in Madrid, where, among other functions, he was responsible for the Neinor Houses project. Since joining the fund in 2015, he has been in charge of portfolio management of Spanish and Portuguese assets, mainly in the residential sector.

Juan Gómez-Vega began his professional career as a real estate analyst at Pegasus Capital, Argentina, followed by a stint at Morgan Stanley in New York, taking up positions at Deutsche Bank in London between 2010 and 2014, first as an associate and later as an advisor to the Vice President of RREEF Real Estate. In 2014 he arrives in Madrid as Vice President of Grove International Partners, a real estate investment fund.

Juan Gómez-Vega said that this appointment "is a huge professional challenge", he said in an interview with the publications of the Open Media group, including "windward". In the short term, it will be responsible for accelerating and revamping the 400-hectare "Masterplan" of Vilamoura's real estate revitalization.

On January 12, the Marina of Vilamoura, was elected International Marina of Distinction: 2015-2017 by The Yacht Harbor Association (TYHA). The announcement was made at the London Boat Show, which is taking place in London.
